4 Tips Dermatologically Tested To Help Your Skin Look Beautiful

Deep Breaths, Dear Skin… We Got the Oxygen for You!

Throughout my practice, I came across quite a few patients who either wanted instant transformations or wished their skin to breathe.

This gave rise to a question: Was it possible to have a skin therapy that rejuvenates, nourishes, uplifts, even oxygenates the skin with minimal downtime?

We found our answer in Medical Facials. This treatment provides the only 3-in-1 Super Facial, resulting in a nourished and oxygenated skin as well as a younger-looking complexion.

You can feel the transformation right after the first treatment. This revolutionary remedy has redefined the word ‘Facials’. It’s a holistic therapy ideal to address ANY type of skin needs, particularly:

  • Plumping and hydrating the skin
  • Restoring skin volume
  • Renewing youthful glow
  • Revitalizing dull complexion
  • Reducing appearance of wrinkles
  • Making the skin firmer and pores tighter
  • Improving skin cell production
  • Decreasing appearance of pigmentation

The Bohr Effect, i.e., CO2 bombardment is the foundation of this therapy. The body senses CO2 and sends oxygenated blood to the facial area.

The first thing I’d like to clear about this treatment is that it’s a non-invasive and painless therapy. It comes in two variants, one that minimizes the appearance of skin pigmentations and uneven skin tone, and the second revitalizes dull skin and reduces fine lines and wrinkles.

They contain ingredients like Kojic Acid for skin lightening, Retinol for anti-aging and collagen renewal, and Peptides for skin repair.

1. Cleansing & Application of Gel

The face is cleansed of any dirt, dust, and makeup to get it readied for the treatment. One of the two variants of the gel is applied all over the face.

2. Exfoliation

This process involves a single one-time use capsule attached to an exfoliating device. The capsule consists of Sodium Bicarb, Citric Acid, and Magnesium.

Once in contact, the gel starts to foam and creates CO2 bubbles, sensed by your body which in return sends oxygen to the face. Areas around the nose that are otherwise hard to exfoliate get cleaned deeply.
This process is done on either side of the face for up to 6 minutes. It’s safe and pain-free to carry out the exfoliation near your eyes as well.

3. Dermal Infusion

After the exfoliation, the foam is washed off, and an additional gel is applied all over your face. The capsule is removed and replaced with a soft massage tip to infuse the nutrients gently into the skin.

It’s done in an upward sweeping motion for a natural uplifting of the face. This step can be done for up to 8 minutes on either side of the face.

4. Hand Massage

After the infusion, a gentle hand massage is given so your skin can soak up any remaining product.

The Bohr Effect lasts for up to 20 minutes post this procedure and keeps sending oxygen to the face the whole time. This process is suitable even for acne-riddled skin.

Medical Facial offers instant transformation after just one treatment as compared to a traditional facial. Since the overall procedure takes close to 25 minutes, you can get it done any time of the day, even during your lunch break.

This Medical Facial is safe for every skin type. However, one thing to keep in mind is that the machine, products, and treatment are available to Board Certified Dermatologists only. If you do come across a commercial entity offering Medical Facials, please refrain from getting it from them.
For long-lasting and thorough improvement and benefits, I would recommend this facial procedure weekly for around 4 to 6 weeks. Post that, once or twice a month would suffice.

I highly encourage you all to get this done at least once to feel the glow of nourished, hydrated, rejuvenated, and oxygenated skin! This not only gives a boost to your skin health but also fosters positive confidence.
