Although all students do not have the capacity to top in class as it is said that all our fingers aren’t of the same size, students can always try to improve in their academics by following some tips and tricks. • FOLLOW VASTU
Vastu is the science of architecture. To grasp topics well, face the East while studying. It helps you to remember for a longer time. The study table should be well lit when studying. Never face a blank wall or window while studying as it blocks your memory.

Switch off the TV and cellphone when studying. The most common reason behind distraction while studying is unwanted calls and messages. Stay away from them to excel in exams.

Most do well, just because they refer the wrong notes. Ask your teachers for the best reference books so that what you study go vain.
• MAKE YOUR OWN NOTES
Everyone has different brain capacities. Some can understand and store topics faster while some need time to understand things. Go for your own notes. Make a note of points that you think are important and you are sure that forget later. It comes handy, at the last moment, when you forget some answers.
• USE SOME TRICKS TO REMEMBER ANSWERS
Make a note of the answers in the form of flow chart, if possible. Make use of mnemonics to remember words and points. This is the most used trick by most of the toppers around.
• DO NOT SKIP
Skipping answers leads to a negative impact on the mind stating that you are not ready for the exam. If you understand an answer ask your friends or teacher to explain it to you. If you think that you will not be able to remember a long answer, just learn the important points and make it short. This way you can avoid skipping any answers.
• USE YOUR STUDY BUDDIES
Coffee and music are considered as study buddies. Listen to soothing music while studying so that you remember the tune of the music and also the answer if it comes for the exam. Do not listen to harsh songs as it may make you dance or distract you. Change the music if you start feeling sleepy. Coffee is drunk to prevent dozing while studying. Don’t use these buddies, just before the exams if are not used to it.
So, don’t take stress. Study only when you are not distracted. Have a water bottle handy to hydrate yourself while studying and keep in mind not to start thinking nonsense when you study. Do make an aim of what and how much to study before starting.
