How are these magnificent diamonds created?

The basic process is to reduce the carbon in ash and then under high heat and pressure, it is converted into diamonds.

  • The process begins with cremation. It requires a minimum of 1 pound of cremains.
  • The cremains are tested in a special oven to check the content of carbon. If there is not enough carbon, then strands of hairs are added to fix the required carbon.
  • The next step is to remove the impurities and contaminations and make the ashes to 99% pure carbon.
  • The carbon is converted into thin slippery graphite sheets.
  • Then it is processed under high temperature and high pressure growing machine and is left for a period.
  • The carbon is converted into a ball of graphite and when it is opened there is uncut and unpolished personalized diamond waiting for you.

The color of the diamond is generally blue because of the impurity of boron present in it. The extent of boron depicts the shade of blue color of the diamond. More the boron, darker is the blue color.
